Low inlet (cutting) water pressure

The intensifier needs a steady water supply, often at least 3-4 bar after the filters.

Safety first: Switch off the pump, release all pressure (open the on/off valve or bleed-down valve) and lock out before you open any high-pressure part. Never put a hand or tool near a running jet.

01Clogged filter element Most likely

A dirty filter drops pressure.

How to check: Compare pressure before and after the filter.

02Weak booster pump Possible

The booster no longer makes enough pressure.

How to check: Deadheaded booster pressure should reach its rated value.

03Air in the water line Less likely

Trapped air reduces flow.

How to check: Bleed air from the plumbing.
