Hydraulic centre section runs hot or loses power

A worn hydraulic piston seal lets oil pass inside the centre section.

Safety first: Switch off the pump, release all pressure (open the on/off valve or bleed-down valve) and lock out before you open any high-pressure part. Never put a hand or tool near a running jet.

01Worn piston seal Most likely

Oil bypasses the piston, power drops and heat rises.

How to check: Pressure stays low at full oil flow; centre section warm.
